Head Above Water
This time of year is absolutely crazy. With my real job, Miss Mo's dance, photography and kids sports, it pretty much keeps us busy till about midnight or later every night. I was able to snag some shots of my middle boy Max as he is turning out to be quite the baseball star and doesn't mind the attention...

Powder Mountain Hill Climb
I jetted up to Powder Mountain Saturday to try to take in some of the snowmobile hill climb competition. I wasn't there as long as I would have liked to have been due to the SL 1/2 Marathon I ran in the morning, nor was I prepared as I should have been (one 4 gig card - c'mon) but I was able to pick a spot and get some fun captures of some professional riders. Here are some of my favorites...
This is Keith Curtis, #711. He is Polaris's new allstar and let me tell you a very classy, down to earth guy. I got to talk to him a bit after the rounds and was impressed with his humbleness and attitude.

Well, the above were my favorites. Too see a ton more click here...

A Little GoPro Flying
Complied a little video taken with the GoPro and D300s. I have too much fun putting these together, it's almost scarey.

Making a Splash
SAWEET! I feel like I've been born again. I gave up waterskiing and focused on wakeboarding after my mission because I didn't see a point in going back and forth, back and forth... only to get sore. All's you have to do is add some floating buoy's and it actually means something! Amazing!
As per Lynette's request... D90, ISO 200, WB Cloudy, F8, 1/1600, 70-200mm 2.8

Shutter Speed
I'm reading a great book called "Understanding Shutter Speed" by Bryan Peterson. I've really come to appreciate the art of "slowing down". Most photographers focus on razor-sharp images of action filled subjects, which I think is cool. However, slowing down a little bit can really make a capture unique and express motion like no other. This was shot at 1/5s at 800iso. Love this pic.
