I had to beg to be able to stop to take this picture from this famous over look because the kids were so excited to swim. Needless to say, I was rushed and it didn't turn out the way I would have like it to - and it wasn't the best time of day. But still, the colors are awesome. We've pulled some big fish out of that lake.

Fine Dining Just Under 10k'
We took the ladies to dinner to the Needles Lodge which is nestled just below De Moisy Peak at Snowbasin. The food was good but the views were spectacular. The wild flowers were in full bloom. We couldn't seem to find a name for the color of blue in the flower below that would serve justice for it's beauty. What a fun night to spend time with the wifey and friends. Just a side note for future reference... Earlier that day we found out that d300's don't float :)

Making a Splash
SAWEET! I feel like I've been born again. I gave up waterskiing and focused on wakeboarding after my mission because I didn't see a point in going back and forth, back and forth... only to get sore. All's you have to do is add some floating buoy's and it actually means something! Amazing!
As per Lynette's request... D90, ISO 200, WB Cloudy, F8, 1/1600, 70-200mm 2.8

Wildlife Weekend
It was interesting watching this woodpecker. He would peck at this tree and take what he found home to his babies. Not sure if it was bugs, sap or bark. I never saw the babies, but I sure heard them.
We ran into this billy near the cliffs at Lightning Ridge. We were actually spotting another goat when we heard some rocks rolling around. We peaked our heads over the edge and found this guy in a perfect pose for us. Truely amazing animals.

Working Overtime
I loved watching this bee busy at work. His work was endless and buzzed from flower to flower. You can tell he's into his work because he's got pollon all over his body and face and his little saddle bags are full...

Deseret Peak
Took Pappa and the boys on a wheeler ride to some new areas. This is Grantsville Reservoir at dusk.
This Deseret Peak is a monster. To think it's only a couple of feet short of Timp. is crazy.

Camp Zarahemla - Morgan
I had the opportunity to go on a Father and Sons with my boys last week. We decided to climb to the top of a big hill to get some photos. This is a pano attempt. I was amazed with photoshop's ability to stitch photos together.
This shot grabbed my attention for some reason - must be the colors. Back side of Francis Peak.

Spring has sprung!
It's never easy to get a flower and blue sky in the same frame. Shooting flowers from a tree with a blue bird sky makes it easy....
